On-chip temperature sensing is crucial to compensate for the performance deviation in performance in different components like transistors, diodes, passives, …etc. due to temperature variations. General requirements for on-chip temperature sensors include low power consumption and small footprint. The InCirT temperature sensor is compact, fully synthesizable, all digital and covers the temperature range from -40°C +120°C.
